Your scripts stay on your device

Teleprompter Saathi stores scripts, display settings, reading position and remote key assignments in this app or browser's local storage. PDF, Word and TXT imports are processed on your device. There is no developer cloud upload, account, advertising, analytics, AI service or tracking in this version.

Files you choose to share

Export creates a plain-text script or JSON library backup in the location or app you choose. These files are not password-protected. The destination you choose may upload or share them according to its own settings. Operating-system or device backups may contain app data, depending on your device's settings.

Controller and diagnostics

The app uses input from your paired controller while you are controlling the reader. A short input trace stays in memory and is cleared when the app page reloads. The optional 45-second iPad button test stays in the app; it is not sent to a server. Input reports are exported only when you choose Download input report. Scripts are not included in those reports.

Delete and retain your data

Open Library backup & deletion to delete a script or erase scripts and settings. Export a backup first if you want to keep a copy. Deletion here does not delete copies you exported, sent to someone else or retained in device backups. App/browser storage can be removed by uninstalling the app or clearing its data. There is no developer account to delete.

Permissions and purchases

The app does not request camera, microphone, contacts or location access. File selection and sharing use your device's picker. On Mac, optional KEY-mode remote handling needs Input Monitoring; only the matching remote's four media controls are handled while connected. On iPhone and iPad, Apple processes the optional one-time Pro purchase. The app checks Apple-verified purchase status on your device to unlock Pro. No purchase receipt or transaction identifier is sent to our server; we do not receive your payment-card details. Apple processes purchases under its own privacy policy.

This support website

This website uses no analytics scripts, advertising cookies or contact forms. Our hosting provider Vercel may process technical request data such as IP address, requested URL and browser information for delivery, security and operational logs. This is separate from the app: your script content is not sent here. Read Vercel’s privacy policy.
